This Tradescantia, or Moses in the Basket, is a tropical sculptural herbaceous perennial that works well as a houseplant.  Desired for its unusual inflorescence and attractive foliage, it also has purple undersides on its leaves which are arranged radially. Additionally, it flaunts flowers which are axillary, white, inside pair of boat-shaped bracts.
