  • Cebu Blue Pothos | Epipremnum Pinnatum

    00
    Sold By: Gardengineering

The Cebu Blue Pothos, or the Epipremnum pinnatum, is native to Southeast Asia. It has the reputation of being one of the easiest houseplants to take care of. Its common name, Pothos, comes from the genus it was once classified under: Pothos aureus.

In the wild, it is known to overgrow forest floors and tree trunks due to its aerial root system which can be used to help it grow vertically in the home up a coir pole. In good indoor conditions, you can expect the Pothos to trail to 10 feet long and grow leaves that are 3 feet in length if trained to climb! The Pothos is particularly fitting for indoor settings because it is able to filter gaseous toxins like formaldehyde from the air.

  • Dorotheanthus bellidiformis | Mezoo trailing red | Livingstone Daisy

    00
    Sold By: Gardengineering

The Mezoo Trailing Red is a sprawling to mounding plant with succulent green leaves edged with white and occasionally accented by button-sized red flowers in spring. This annual succulent is from South Africa’s Cape Provinces. The small, round, daisy-like flowers appear on the stems among the heavy, elliptical, pointed leaves.

Bright flowers with many petite petals remain open during cloudy weather, unlike other Livingstone daisies which close if the sky darkens. This variety is a compact flower bred by Syngenta. It is commonly used as a border plant, in hanging baskets, or in a patio container. It also makes an excellent “spiller” in sunny container gardens or an annual groundcover in the rock garden. This plant tolerates poor soil, heat, and drought!

  • Bubblegum tradescantia | Lilac Tricolor | Nanouk Plant

    00
    Sold By: Gardengineering

The Tradescantia Bubblegum, or Nanouk is a unique tricolor variety you will definitely want to consider if you want to add some vibrancy to your home decor. It is well-known for its distinct colorations that evoke the hues of an aurora borealis, along with its hanging vines, which are often put on full display when the plant is placed inside a hanging pot. This plant is ideal for growing indoors due to its hardy nature and the relative ease with which it can thrive in most indoor conditions.

The Nanouk plant care requires bright indirect light. If the light is too dim, the leaf markings will fade. Keep the soil slightly moist, but don’t water directly into the crown. Care should be taken, particularly in winter, that the plant doesn’t become too dry.

It’s not like any other Tradescantia because it’s a new variety grown by cross-pollinating two selected seedlings of Tradescantia albiflora in the Netherlands in 2012. Tradescantia plants originated in Central America, Mexico, and South America, but Tradescantia Nanouk originated in Sappemeer, The Netherlands. While it’s the new “it” plant, it’s not a difficult plant. In fact, it’s one of the easiest houseplants to care for, which makes it a great choice for beginners!
