Ross Sapote is a gorgeous, fast growing fruit tree that prefers well drained soil and good amounts of sunlight. In the wild it can generally be found in wetland forests in areas of low elevation.
Ross Sapote was introduced to Florida by the legendary rare fruit collector, Bill Whitman. For those who are on the fence about the flavor of Canistel, you will quickly fall in love with delicious Ross Sapote fruit. Unlike Canistel, the texture of Ross Sapote fruit is consistently creamy throughout and it’s not dry or chalky at all.

Order 123550 was never received. I have contacted the seller.
Plant was very small and only had one leaf with any green on it (see attached photo). I’m doing my best to nurse it back to health but it becomes more and more brown with each passing day, so I’m about 95% sure it’s a goner. It was packed well, I just don’t think a plant this small can survive a trip cross-country.
Hello Evan, we’re sorry to hear about the unhappy plant you received. Have you tried reaching out to the vendor to let them know?
