Variegated Pineapple (Ananas Comosus var. Variegatus) is a bromeliad plant from the Bromeliaceae family. It has striking spiky strap-like, white, and green striped leaves of the variegated pineapple and produces edible fruits but lacks the sweet taste as they mature. It is native to the tropical Americas, where they thrive in full sun to partial shade, well-drained soil mix, and warm and humid environments.
You can plant them in a container and place them as an accent to your landscape garden. You can plant them in USDA Hardiness Zones 10-11. This plant can grow up to 6 inches tall and 1-3 inches wide.
Allow the soil to dry before watering them, and make sure there is an excellent draining hole to prevent root rot. Fertilizing them once a month during their growing season using a balanced liquid fertilizer will help them grow healthy. The best way to propagate them is via offsets and cuttings.
Watch out for mites, scales, and mealy bugs it is a serious pest problem. Use insecticidal soap or neem oil to eliminate them.

I think we suffered a little stress from the journey as it lost 3 or 4 leaves and the box it was in was damaged. But the plant is coming around and starting to recover because it is a very healthy plant.
