Calathea Dottie is known for its shiny black leaves with a pink halo. The unique foliage is elliptic & oval-shaped. It is a part of the Marantaceae family, and likes bright, indirect light at most, as the colors will fade and the leaves will burn if exposed to too much direct sunlight.

Calathea Roseopicta has round, dark purple foliage with clear hot pink veins and purple undersides. One of the best calathea varieties to keep at home. This plant thrives in bright, indirect light and high-humidity environments.
It is native to South America. Avoid exposing this plant to full sunlight or its foliage will burn. Use rain or distilled water to water them.
Tap water can cause tip browning on their leaves. Calathea appreciates moist soil but is not soggy with rich, organic materials. Fertilizing them during their growing season using organic fertilizer will help them boost their growth.
You can propagate them via division.
