The Majestic erotica prayer plant has oval-shaped and beautifully patterned leaves with light green background and deep green symmetrical patterns. The backside of the leaf displays a purplish pattern. It has great foliage and withstands the abandoned conditions. The Calathea Majestic exotica is a native of Brazillian rainforests.

Like most of the Calathea, it needs indirect sunlight but not a darker zone. The harsh light rays can damage the leaves, but window light is enough for better growth.

The plant prefers moist soil, but water retention at roots may cause fungal infection. Therefore, water only when the top layer of soil is dry to touch. It also varies with the seasons and humidity of the interiors.

Beautiful but a little deceiving from what the picture shows as this is what I received! I’m sure it will grow to be beautiful but I definitely didn’t get what was in the picture.
