Christmas Cactus ‘Schlumbergera bridgesii’ This cactus produces small, flat stem segments that are roundish in nature, with minor serrations on both sides. They flower from the end of these segments. The Christmas variety has neon pink pollen-bearing stamen. Along with the December blooming preference, this is the Cactus’s defining feature. The flower produces a unique, tube-shaped “double flower” appearance, with the “outer” flower being formed by shorter leaves that curl back near the flower’s base, and the “inner” flower being formed further up the flower, near the stamen. They bloom from mid-November and January.
If temperatures are kept steady near the 68°F (20°C) mark, flowering can continue for eight weeks or more. To induce flowering for the coming year, place your Christmas Cactus in a dark room for 12-14 hours on fall nights. For best flowering results, pinch off any plant segments less than 1 cm long in early September.

All plants at Pot Hedz Plant Shop are packed on Monday for delivery on Tuesday. Please allow 1-2 weeks complete processing time from when you order your plant til the time you recieve it. All shipping rates are based on weight of plant. We do pack all plants in nursery pot for the health of the plant. All plants are shipped USPS priority. If you want any other way shipped, please message before purchase.
Refund Policy
Pot Hedz Plant Shop does not accept returns of plants, but we do offer a plant replacement policy. Please take a photo of your plant and email us at [email protected] within 24 hours of your plant being delivered to start the replacement process on all Pot Hedz Plants except where noted otherwise. It is at our discretion to determine whether a replacement, refund (partial or full) or store credit will be issued. We may request further documentation and photos. Pot Hedz does not replace plants if they are left in extreme temperatures upon delivery or if not removed from box immediately after being delivered. Thank you for your support.
