Botanical Name: Philodendron wendlandii x P. tortum
Common Names: Henderson’s Pride, Variegated Ring of Fire
Description: Philodendron ‘Ring of Fire’ is believed to be a hybrid between Philodendron Tortum and Philodendron Wendlandii and was originally called ‘Henderson’s Pride’. The variation of colors on the new leaves can range from white to cream, from light to dark green, and from orange to fire red. It is a rather slow-growing philodendron but well worth the wait.

The shipment arrived in a timely manner and my plant was well packaged. When I unwrapped it I was presented with a beautiful unusual plant. It didn’t show much signs of stress from the trip. This is a good source for plants.

I think we suffered a little stress from the journey as it lost 3 or 4 leaves and the box it was in was damaged. But the plant is coming around and starting to recover because it is a very healthy plant.
