Snowflake Japanese Ming is a mini-tree-like plant. Twisted stems with fern-like leaves complement the indoor vegetation with bonsai-like plants. It is an ideal gift for a bonsai-collectors. The cute and tiny leaves give a fairy-tale look to the interior of your home or garden. Originates from the pacific islands of SouthAsia territories and botanical name are Polyscias Fruticosa belong to Araliaceae.

It is widely cultivated in many regions due to flexible and robust growing conditions. Usually, bonsai plants need unique hormonal treatments for suppressing their growth.
Hydration Needs
Although it needs the least hydration in winter months, drying out eventually can damage the growth. Therefore, check the soil before watering.
Soil and Fertilization
Soil combinations of peat moss, sand, and loam are suitable for Snowflake’s Japanese Ming tree. During the active growth season at least three times, fertilization is good enough for better growth.
Light Exposure
Low to moderate light is suitable for the slow-growing bonsai snowflakes Japanese Ming, but direct sunlight can damage the plant. Even interior ample lighting is suitable for plant growth.
The plant is slow-growing, but it becomes bushy if not pruned. Therefore to keep the plant in good shape, one might need to prune it into more inactive growing seasons.
