Spider plant ( Chlorophytum comosum ) is a common houseplant that grows in a container. It is native to Central and Southern Africa, where they thrive in bright and indirect light and well-draining loamy soil. It has long and narrow leaves with light green and white sides.
You can grow them indoors and outdoors. When growing indoors, plant them in a pot and place them on a tabletop where they can add color to your space. Spider plant is a natural air purifier.
It cleans the toxins in your space making them a healthy, fresh, and clean space. Allow the soil to dry before watering them, and make sure there is an excellent draining hole in the pot to prevent root rot. Fertilizing them once a month during their growing season from spring to summer using an all-purpose granular fertilizer will help them grow healthy.
You can propagate them vi division. You can grow them in USDA Hardiness Zones 9-11.
