Calathea stromanthe triostar has pink, cream, and green splashes of color on its leaves. It thrives in the moist, well-draining mix and bright, indirect light. Calathea prefers rain or distilled water.
Tap water can cause discoloration or brown tips on its leaves due to chemical residue. Although this plant is finicky on water, it’s a low-maintenance type of plant. It can tolerate medium to low light.
However, if exposed to the right amount of light, it will encourage healthy, beautiful colored leaves. This is a tropical plant native to the jungles of Brazil so treat this plant according to where it’s native for lush, beautiful growth.

You will receive one live Stromanthe ‘Triostar’ Plant, potted in a 5″ tall pot with soil. Ships in pot. It might have some brown edges which is normal for stromanthe.
Stromanthe has dark green, pink and cream coloring and the backsides of the leaves are a lovely shade of pinkish-purple, burgundy. Beautiful houseplant. This plant can be very picky, so I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners!
Grow stromanthe in a medium or bright spot indoors. The more light it gets, the better the variegation will show. No direct light!! The leaves burn very easily.
Water stromanthe regularly — when the soil surface just starts to dry. Take care not to let stromanthe dry out.
Fertilize stromanthe, if you wish, during the spring and summer months. This exotic houseplant grows faster when fed but doesn’t require it to put on a show in your home or office.
Like many tropical indoor plants, stromanthe likes above-average humidity. In especially dry air, the leaf edges or leaf tips may turn brown. Remedy this by supplying the plant with more humidity. It’s also helpful to keep stromanthe away from drafts of hot or cold air.

PLANTS ARE NOT PERFECT! While we try our best to make sure every plant looks amazing, it is possible that a small burn spot or tiny hole may be present. We do grow our plants organically and some are grown outside, so its possible for nature to make a small imperfection.
We are bee and butterfly friendly nursery. We use minimal spraying and as much natural means to take care of our pests as much as possible. You might get few holes on leaves, it’s normal the plant won’t die.

We do our best to ship your items as inexpensively as possible. When items are under 16 ounces, we ship First Class Mail USPS. If it's over that, it goes USPS Priority.

Approximate Spring Shipping Dates for Live Plants:
Currently, we ship Monday - Tuesday to ensure your plants aren't stalled in some warehouse over the weekend. We also watch the weather very closely to ensure the survivability of your plants. If the overnight temperatures between you and our greenhouse in Florida are too cold, we will delay shipping another week, or until it's warm enough.
Plants shipping:
Because your plant has been in a box without sunlight for a few days in shipping, it might decide to yellow and drop few leaves when it first arrives. This is normal. (If it loses all leaves, this is not normal and you should contact us.)
Refund Policy
We will try our best to meet your satisfaction. If for some reason you are not satisfied with our products, please contact us and we will solve the problem promptly. We will make sure all our customers are happy.
Refund Policy:
If your items arrive damaged due to rough transit, please contact us within 24 hours (WITH A PHOTO) after the package gets delivered in order to make a claim. We won't be responsible for the damages after the 24 hour period, sorry. Please send the picture of your damaged package.
