Crassula Perforata (String of Button) is a succulent shrub native to South Africa. The triangle-shaped leaves grow opposite each other and spiral around the stem, causing it to look beautifully stacked. These are hardy plants so they thrive in partial sun to partly shaded areas.
The perfect soil for them is well-drained with pumice and bark. When watering them, use the soak-and-dry method and make sure there is an excellent draining hole in the pot to prevent root rot. Fertilizing them during their growing season using organic fertilizer will help them grow healthy.
They are easy to propagate via stem cutting, leaf cuttings, and offset. You can grow them in USDA Hardiness Zone 9a-11b at 20-50 degrees F.
