“Milk Barrel Cactus” is a green columnar succulent with up to 15 ribs endemic to South Africa (Cape Province). Spiky peduncles (dried flower stalks) cover the edges of the ribs. The top of the plant will form a crown of flowers when in bloom. It can be grown indoors with right amount of light, outdoors full sun to partial shade. Will clump and produce many offsets. Plant can grow up to 36″ (91 cm) tall and to 4″ (10 cm) wide. Division being sold (1) is 4″ tall, pictures shown. Also shown the picture of my mother plant . Plant will ship bare root. Plant will be ship potted. Will refund some of the shipping cost when placing an order for 2 or more items.
All my plants are healthy and pest free. All purchases on or after Wednesday will ship the following Monday to avoid plants spending the weekend at the post office. Not responsible for frozen plants or delays from postal service, that’s out of my hands. If you require a heat pack, I have some for sale, check under my other listings. I’m not making any money on these, I have them there for YOUR convenience. They are priced at $6 that’s to cover my cost. Received after 3 days I ordered. They arrived in a box. All wrapped loosely by used newspapers. You can see the roots with some soil still attached. I planted them in pots the next day. I put them in my sun room. Hope they will grow healthy and see the flowers soon.
