The Medium Sedum Dasyphyllum Major also known as Corsican Stonecrop or Blue Tears is a quick growing, hardy, evergreen ground cover that features adorable blue/green foliage with long branching stems and tiny round leaves. It makes a colorful outdoor accent throughout most seasons. It can reach 3 to 5″ in height.nnThe Sedum Dasyphyllum forms a dense carpet and grows particularly well in rocky areas. It self propagates easily as fallen leaves and stem sections will readily re-root. This species has shallow roots and needs great drainage, but this makes it a great variety for vertical plantings, and retaining walls. When grown in a well-draining pot, it will eventually trail over the edges. It likes full sun, which also brings out more vibrant coloring.nnDespite its delicate look, the Sedum Dasyphyllum is frost hardy down to 32 degrees. It can tolerate extended droughts, but regular water in the summer will encourage growth. It is a summer bloomer, producing white, star-shaped flowers on short stalks that attract pollinators.nnSucculent plants are among the hardiest, most drought-tolerant in the world and very easy to maintain, as long as they are planted in a porous cactus/succulent soil, given proper drainage, daily bright light, and not over watered.nnYou will receive 1 well-established, rooted plant, from a 4 inch pot, sent bareroot and packaged with great care. Shipping Policy
Our shipping schedule will be one day a week. This will include all orders placed by the previous Friday, as we do our plant pick up from our growers on Saturdays. We will be processing and packing orders on Mondays for shipping on Tuesdays. We ship USPS Priority Mail, which has an estimated 2-3 day travel time. After doing this for many years, we find this is the safest schedule for shipping the live plants.
Refund Policy
There are no refunds done once ordered plants have been pulled from the greenhouses. If you have any issues once your order is received please contact me directly as soon as possible so that the problem can be rectified.
PLEASE CONSIDER ORDERING A HEAT PACK IF YOU ARE ORDERING FROM AN AREA 35 DEGREES OR BELOW!! PLANTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED IF NO HEAT PACK IS ORDERED IN COLD WEATHER!!
