Chicago Lustre Arrowwood Viburnum, Viburnum dentatum ‘Synnestvedt’, is selected for its upright, rounded, dense habit and glossy, deep green foliage that turns red-purple in fall. They grow 8-10′ tall mature..
The creamy white flowers bloom in June and mature into clusters of globe-shaped fruit. The fruit are deep porcelain blue to blue-purple, maturing in August and providing food for the birds.
Chicago Lustre is a medium-sized to large-sized ornamental shrub, that can grow even larger under optimum conditions. It has an upright, oval growth habit in youth, becoming arching, spreading, and suckering with age. It has a medium growth rate and prefers full sun to partial shade with moist, well-drained soils.
The foliage turns yellow and progresses through red into purple in autumn.
This Viburnum is highly adaptable to dry soils, poor soils, and soils of various pH, heat, drought, and pollution. It is also known for its resistance to bores. It makes an excellent formal or informal hedge, border, entrance way, foundation, utilitarian, group planting, naturalizing, or specimen shrub.
Viburnum tends to be multi-season plants with ornamental value throughout a large part of the season.

I included a note in the order asking for bare root shipment to be sent in April when plants could be immediately planted outside. It’s not clear whether Plantly didn’t see note, or if delayed shipment wasn’t possible.
These were sent in a closed plastic bag but without a wet paper towel around the roots and they were dry. I don’t think they will survive.
All the leaves were already off the plant and it never recovered
We never received the item. Postal service is inefficient. Why not fedex or ups which is much more efficient. Probably will never receive it from postal service and lost 20 dollars!
Never arrived. Was left to deal with the post office in my own. Was never resolved. I paid fifty dollars for nothing.
Died shortly after I put it in a pot on the porch
Only one barely survived. I fave them compost, mulch and regular watering- nothing.. sad..
