Colocasia Pharaoh’s Mask grows to 4 to 5 feet tall. The petioles are dark Purple / Black, and each leaf is dark green with a nice reflective sheen. The main attraction is the highly contrasting black veins raised off the leaf. These bulky veins protrude off the leaf, giving it a 3D effect.
As the leaves mature, the center of the leaves push out, and the edges pull back, giving them a unique shape and texture leaf. Colocasia Pharaoh’s Mask PPAF does excellent in containers or landscapes. A nice cluster of them significantly impacts the stripped foliage and dark stems that are unlike any elephant ear on the market.
Perennial in zone 8 and up, mature at 3-4’ tall and wide.
Colocasia plants are growing in pots and ready for repotting in large pots. The plants are not fully mature now – they will need a couple more months to show their embossed veining.
