Zingiber mioga ‘Dancing Cranes’ Ginger, is a tropical, hardy ginger displaying highly variegated, broad leaves with splashes of green and white. Hardy to Zone 7b! This upright, clumping perennial is deciduous and emerges late in Spring. Dancing Crane Ginger is best in moist, rich, well-drained soil with regular water. This plant makes a great tropical accent, in tall borders, or for cut flowers. The milky sap in the cones is used as a shampoo in Hawaii. This is probably the hardiest of the true gingers. The species is grown as a food plant in Japan for its edible young shoots and flower buds.

I have purchased now three cold hardy citrus (citrandarin, and swingle citrumelo) both are in ground, doing great, but this thomasville cintrangaquat is shriveled, looks dry, and not happy. Little concerned this one is not going to make it and do as well as the other two.
