Ichang Lemon Tree – Grow lemons in NC!
$45.00$63.00 (-29%)
Ichang lemon tree is known for its extreme cold tolerance, with reports of it withstanding below 10F. The large, rounded fruit have a thick, tender rind and sharp, snappy flavor. Excellent juice quality, can be used for mixed drinks, lemonade, and cooking. We juice this one out and freeze it in ice cube trays. Just drop one in a glass of tea for a lemony edge. Fruit ripens October to March. Self fertile. Zones 7b-10.

I Chang (Citrus ichangensis) is formally known as the “Ichang papeda” and is truly a most extraordinary plant which grows wild in southwestern China, reportedly surviving subzero temperatures. The fruit is oblong in shape, much like a lemon, with rough, pale orange rind and meaty flesh packed with seeds.

Order 123550 was never received. I have contacted the seller.
Plant was very small and only had one leaf with any green on it (see attached photo). I’m doing my best to nurse it back to health but it becomes more and more brown with each passing day, so I’m about 95% sure it’s a goner. It was packed well, I just don’t think a plant this small can survive a trip cross-country.
Hello Evan, we’re sorry to hear about the unhappy plant you received. Have you tried reaching out to the vendor to let them know?
