Florida Fresh Plumbago auriculata, the cape leadwort, blue plumbago or Cape plumbago, is a species of flowering plant in the family of Plumbaginaceae. Blooms huge clusters of sky blue flowers all Spring-Fall. Offer is for one (1) 20″ blooming plant ready for your garden. Hardy in USDA zones 5 to 9, plumbago does best in full sun. It does tolerate light shade but tends not to bloom as well in shade as it does in full sun. Plumbago is a tough, low maintenance plant that requires no shearing or pruning. Our plants are grown strictly organic.

I thought I was getting a plant with more than two leaves on it. The picture is deceiving. While I appreciate the seeds and alligator plant that was sent along with it, I would have preferred a larger plant. Here’s hoping it grows.
