Tropical heart shaped leaves are speckled, splashed, and striped in shades of green, cream, pink, and a deep burgundy, that look like flowers from afar. Full sun, mostly sunny, part shade, part sun.
If purchasing a Starter, you will receive One rooted cutting, in a pot. They are small cutting 5” to 7” tall. Water until draining thru pot, and keep lightly moist and warm, until you feel comfortable it is ok, then put in a sunny window until you see new growth. After your Winter is above 40* and your threat of freezes are gone, you can put outside. Very low maintenance and a beauty all year, in full sun. Cannot handle below 40* or freezes. If your winter weather is consistently below 40*, it is recommended you leave your tree potted for its entirety. Bring in during winter. Then put in full to partial sun for Spring, Summer, and Fall. The more sun the tree gets, the more beautiful the leaves. It is a hibiscus, so the watering is the same. Constant, but does not like to sit in water. Keep moist, or mostly moist.
Larger plants are ready for outdoors after acclimation to your weather. Do not go to straight full sun without acclimation. Full Florida sun in the summer for a newly planted Mahoe will result in great shock, and can be fatal to the tree.

Shipping will be the Monday after your order is placed. I can ship any other day as long as you message me to let me know its okay with your weather, extreme temps in winter and summer are not ideal. The goal is for your plant to reach you without spending any extra time sitting around a post office
Your cutting will be carefully wrapped and packaged so that no damage can occur. The heat may get to it, but it should bounce back quickly after getting some fresh air and water.
