Hoya australis has clusters of star-shaped fragrant flowers and enjoys bright, indirect light, although a few hours of direct daily sunshine is fine. Allow to dry out between waterings.
Hoyas should never be allowed to sit in water or persistently damp soil. Remember, these are epiphytic semi-succulents and store water in their leaves.

Hoyas (wax plants) are semi-succulent vining plants, great for either cascading from a hanging basket or climbing up a trellis. They have pleasingly thick, waxy leaves and under the right conditions will produce exquisitely scented blooms in star‐shaped clusters. Hoyas are beautiful live tropical plants that make great houseplants.
For hoyas, use a very airy, chunky, well-draining mix. Orchid bark chips are an ideal pot additive for these epiphytic plants. Hoyas do very well in a tight spot, so being pot-bound isn’t a problem. Never repot when the plant is in bloom.
Hoyas like to be fertilized once the plant has acclimatized to its position, with a weak solution of general liquid houseplant fertilizer that can be applied monthly throughout the summer.

We can't refund or exchange live plants once they are in your care. If your house plant arrives with an issue, you must report it within 48 hours and we will find a solution together. We can only honor dead on arrival if you report any loss from shipping within 24 hours of the tracking showing delivery of your live plants.
