Philodendron Pink Princess — A rare black-leaf philodendron with hot pink variegation. The young leaves emerge as a dark olive-green with white variegation, maturing to a deep black with bright pink spots.

A rare black-leaf philodendron with hot pink variegation. The young leaves emerge as a dark olive-green with white variegation, maturing to a deep black with bright pink spots. The variegation is highly visible. Provide good light for maximum coloration. Grow in bright indirect light indoors or a shady location outdoors. This philodendron prefers moist but well-drained soil and some humidity. As a vining plant, it should be grown on a stake or trellis.

    I always struggle to find plants that will grow in the full sun, clay soil area behind my house, but this plant is hanging in and growing. I can’t wait til the hummingbirds start to come.
