Gymnocalycium Mihanovichii Variegated is a beautiful cactus with red and yellow variegation that can attract a plant lover. It can grow up to 4 cm high and 5-6 cm in diameter. These unique and rare cacti have marked ribs with horizontal grooves with white spines known as ‘moon cactus’ that can produce yellowish-green flowers as they mature.
Growing them is easy and requires bright, indirect light and a well-drained soil mix. It is a great addition to your collection of plants, especially if you have it displayed in a beautiful pot. Allow the soil to dry before watering them, and make sure there is an excellent draining hole to prevent root rot.
Fertilizing them once a month during their growing season using a diluted fertilizer will help them grow faster and healthier. The best way to propagate them is via seeds. You can grow them in USDA Hardiness Zones 9-10.

Water it regularly throughout the spring and summer months. During the winter months, water less frequently. Ensure the soil is dry before watering the plant.
