Parlor Palm (Chamaedorea elegans) is a beautiful indoor plant that is used for modern interior decoration that adds a tropical accent to your space. It is native to the rainforest of Guatemala and Southern Mexico, where it thrives in bright and indirect light and a well-drained soil mix. You can grow them in USDA Hardiness Zones 10-12.

Chamaedorea elegans, the neanthe bella palm or parlour palm, is a species of small palm tree native to the rainforests in Southern Mexico and Guatemala. The parlor palm is one of the most extensively sold houseplant palms in the world. It is one of several species with leaves that are harvested as xate. It is possible to sometimes find single-stalk specimens, but most often the palms are grown in small clumps so that they resemble palm-like shrubs in attractive pots. The fronds are popular in flower arrangements, Palm Sunday decorations, and wreaths because they can survive for up to 40 days after being cut from the plant. Parlor palm is a slow grower and can take years to reach full height (2 to 6 feet indoors and 6 to 16 feet outdoors). It can adapt to just about any typical office or home interior. It is grown primarily for indoor use in 6 inch – 14 inch containers, ranging in height from 18 inches to 3-4 feet You’ll find it used as a table top plant, grouped together in beds as under plantings, and as a low stand alone plant. The Parlor Palm is one of the hardiest and impossible to kill houseplants!

All plants are shipped USPS priority or UPS. If you want any other way shipped, please message before purchase. Plants are shipped only on Tues or Wed.
Refund Policy
Pot Hedz Plant Shop does not accept returns of plants, but we do offer a plant replacement policy. Please take a photo of your plant and email us at [email protected] within 24 hours of your plant being delivered to start the replacement process on all Pot Hedz Plants except where noted otherwise. It is at our discretion to determine whether a replacement, refund (partial or full) or store credit will be issued. We may request further documentation and photos. Pot Hedz does not replace plants if they are left in extreme temperatures upon delivery or if not removed from box immediately after being delivered. Thank you for your support.
