  • Peperomia Rosso is a compact plant with beautiful foliage arranged in a rosette pattern and can attract a plant enthusiast. It has dark green with heart-shaped leaves, red undersides, and stalks, making them attractive to display on a tabletop. It is native to the tropical region of South and Central America, where they thrive in bright, indirect, and well-drained soil.
  • Avoid exposing them to direct sunlight, as it can scorch their leaves. Peperomia Rosso can grow up to 8 inches tall and 8 inches wide. It is a lovely addition to your collection of plants, especially if you have it displayed in a beautiful pot.
  • They are easy to grow and easy to care for once established. Allow the soil to dry before watering them, and make sure there is an excellent draining hole to prevent root rot.
  • Fertilizing them once a month during their growing season using a diluted fertilizer will help them bloom into healthy one. The best way to propagate them is via leaf and stem cuttings. You can grow them in USDA Hardiness Zones 10a-11b at 30-50 degrees F.

  4. Eastern White Pine saplings arrived today. Very healthy, bare roots and packaged safely. Much better quality than many online nurseries. We have them soaking in cold water and a couple aspirin before planting in outdoor pots tomorrow. After a couple years in the pots we’ll transfer them into the ground. We are at the bottom of planting zone 8 and in limestone laden Texas hill country soil. We are going to try these in well amended acidic soil and fingers cross they will grow into wonderful additions to the arbor diversification we are trying to create in our phase 2 forest regrowth.

  6. They arent doing well. I have a raised still pond with a shelf, i have other plants doing well there including a carnivorous pitcher plant thats thriving. But i had high hopes for these. But they aren’t growing and two are rotting, the roots on all of them are black and stiff. I can grow anything i have succulent gardens, all types of bromiliad gardens, a medicinal alie garden, native ground cover, areca and cat palms, ferns, I grew 7 royal poincianas from seed, rainbow eucalyptus tree, song of india, 6 varieties of snake plants, even planted aquariums and two ponds planted fully, but these are dying. I took rhem out, trimmed the roots and am trying in a pot now. We will see. I have never had plants die on me like this.

They are to the left of the pitcher plant , just breaking the surface. I had biodegratable flow through planting bags with a bit of organic soil and peat. They were set on the shelf. Pictures to show the varity of gardens and plants.

  8. May I suggest cardboard boxes with ventilation ? Horsetail plants are very hardy and beautiful plants… but, I have to be honest- these plants took a tremendous amount of abuse! They were shipped in a slightly padded envelope… where they were at the mercy of USPS for over a week. When delivered, instead of USPS walking over to my porch and ringing the bell, USPS left them inside of my black metal mailbox during 90 + degree weather in August… where they baked in the metal box for SIX HOURS before I happened to log into my e-mail account and receive a delivery message ! Some of the stems were yellow and I had to throw them into the trash. The plants that made it through the torment… are actually very decent in appearance, especially in light of what they endured before I took them out of the packaging.

  10. Super wonderful. Always delivered in perfect shape. It is clear the owners CARE about each and every plant. They arrive cuddled in a box, water soaked roots surrounded with a towel and then a plastic wrapping around that. I live in 105 temps and they arrived in perfect condition. Also -these plants are AMAZING in areas such as where I live – deer will NOT eat them (but they have eaten everything else!) and they thrive with lots of water and high temps. I’m ordereing 50 more today! Buy from this vendor – you won’t be disappointed (and I am super critical!).
