About

I am Cami, wife, mom (of a wonderful human, 2 dogs, and countless plants). I’ve always been a “mom” to everyone around me trying to make them feel special and loved.

After living the “start-up life” and having work as my main focus I’ve found that my passion was gone, I wasn’t feeling fulfilled, and was distancing myself from the real “mom” that I’ve always been. In 2017, priorities completely changed when I had my son, Axl. I now value time with family, learning, helping create a better environment around us, and dedicating time to create things that I love and haven’t had the time/drive to do before.

I treat every item I create with the same love that I put into my own families’ items and I am absolutely passionate to learn new technologies, try new materials, and improve my skills.

 

Curious about our shop’s name?

Artemis (Art&Misc, get it?! Lol), the Greek goddess of hunting and the wilderness, represents my personal values. She felt strongly about any causes that she believed in and worked hard to create changes to benefit the ones she cared for. She was a hard worker, but the work had personal meaning to her. She worked hard to keep pregnant and laboring women healthy and safe and given all of this, Artemis was the goddess who protected other women.
