Spider Plant Chlorophytum comosum
Beautiful air-purifying, hardy Spider Plant 4 Inch Pot
Weight 1 lbs
Spider plants have been a long-standing tradition in my family, all starting from my Grandmother’s plants. Some of the best things about these plants are that they are very hardy and will survive being overwatered, and underwatered at times, so even the newest plant raiser will find nothing but success with this variety. Their root system has nodes that can hold extra water while you go on vacation. They prefer dappled sun but also thrive in the shade, and I have kept them outside during the summer in Arizona, think 105+ degrees, which is a far cry from their original home in a shaded northern MI forest.
They are one of the best plants for cleaning the air in your house or apartment. With minimal upkeep, gorgeous reverse variegated leaves, and trailing spiderlings, they make a beautiful layered artistic look, whether you hang it up or keep it on a pedestal in the corner for some color.
Their size can grow up to whatever pot you keep them in, their spiderlings start by hanging stalks that bloom, sprout, then start to grow their own roots (which is also a great way to tell if your plant is happy) so you can propagate them not only by their babies but by dividing the plant itself when it gets large enough.
Tiny Dr. Kitty Sweets, (the cat in the profile photo) also verifies this plant as super great to munch on with no adverse reactions. These stress-free beneficial plants are ready to make your day more enjoyable.
