The Mammillopisis Senilis is native to Durango and Mazatlan. It is densely covered with short white fuzz and sparser long spines. It produces beautiful large red flowers during February and March. This cactus grows on moss-covered boulders in pine forests at high altitudes in Mexico.
Protect from freezing weather to prevent possible scarring.
Provide bright light. It is hardy to 32 degrees.
You will receive one medium cactus from a 3.5″ diameter pot with a well established root system. It will come bareroot, meaning out of the pot with most of the soil removed, wrapped and packaged in a USPS Priority mail box that will arrive to you within 2-3 work days after shipped. Please contact me if you need larger quantities.
These look great in mixed bowls, planters and more. Perfect for a cactus dish garden.

Shipping Policy
Our shipping schedule will be one day a week. This will include all orders placed by the previous Friday, as we do our plant pick up from our growers on Saturdays. We will be processing and packing orders on Mondays for shipping on Tuesdays. We ship USPS Priority Mail, which has an estimated 2-3 day travel time. After doing this for many years, we find this is the safest schedule for shipping the live plants.
Refund Policy
There are no refunds done once ordered plants have been pulled from the greenhouses. If you have any issues once your order is received please contact me directly as soon as possible so that the problem can be rectified.

It’s a nice cactus. The only reason I give 2 stars is because of the description of it being rare and monstrose. It is exactly as pictured but the description certainly had me wondering. A totem pole cactus is not a San Pedro cactus and it did not look like a monstrose cactus. To clear things up for people, it is a typical pc variety cactus. Well packaged and nice specimen but run of the mill variety. Nothing rare to add to a collection
