Crassula ‘Pangolin’ is a beautiful succulent with grey-green, overlapping leaves and scaled skin and produces tiny, white flowers that smell like jasmine as they mature. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and a well-drained soil mix. It is a lovely addition to your collection of plants, especially if you have it displayed in a beautiful pot.
Crassula is a low maintainance plant. Allow the soil to dry before watering them, and make sure there is an excellent draining hole in the pot to prevent root rot. Fertilizing them once a month during their growing season using a balanced liquid fertilizer will help them grow faster.
You can propagate them via the stem, leaf cuttings, and offsets. You can grow them in USDA Hardiness Zones 9b-11b at 25-50 degrees F.
***
Crassula ‘Pangolin’ truly lives up to its name! The foliage resembles the scaled skin of the illusive, ant-eating animal. This slow growing succulent variety has cupped, overlapping, powdery grey green leaves in an upright column. Displays spherical clusters with tiny, creamy white flowers.
Provide a well-drained soil away from reflected heat. Once established, water infrequently during the hot season. Ideal in warm climate landscapes and containers. Crassula pyramidalis ‘Buddha’s Temple’ is especially happy sitting on your windowsill as a houseplant.
