King Anthurium or Antherurium Veitchii is an epiphyte that grows on other trees. The plant is native to the Colombian rainforest of South America. It has long oblong leaves that grow up to 6.6 feet. Since the plant grows on other plants, it needs an airy environment. It can grow sufficiently with Perlite, sphagnum moss, activated charcoal, coconut coir, and volcanic rock. You can add Anthurium Veitchii on the east-facing window sill as it needs direct sunlight exposure.

This king of plants has long and arrow-shaped bases of quilted leaves. The king Anthurium Veithchii grows on another plant, a kind of epiphytic nature. It belongs to the Araceae family, and you can find various species in the Caribbean Islands. It propagates with the stem, and therefore, it spread on a vast area of southern lines of the Caribbean Islands.
The plant can grow in indoor settings with proper irrigation and with an appropriate pot mix. The plant does not need soil, and therefore, the orchid mix is enough for pot mix. One time a week, watering is enough for the plant, but it depends on the soil you use to grow Anthurium Veitchii. In humid conditions, you must reduce watering the plant. Anthurium Veichii grows optimal at more than 60% of humidity in the air.
It needs moderately cold temperatures of 15 degrees Celsius to 26 degrees Celsius, and it grows best in colder months. The large size of the leaves makes them prone to damage. If the air has insufficient humidity, then the leaves will show deformations and cracks. Although the plant is not predisposed to pests yet, whiteflies, mealybugs, and spider mites thrive for the Anthuiriu Veitchii.
