Hoya carnosa albomarginata

Hoya Carnosa Albomarginata is a beautiful flowering succulent with variegated leaves. It has waxy, green leaves with variegated white margins and produces sweet smell, creamy, oranges flowers that last up to 5-7 days as they mature. It is native to the tropical climate of India and Asia, where it thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil.

You can plant them indoors and outdoors in a pot or hanging basket. When growing indoors, plant them in a hanging basket and place them on bookshelves, where they cascade down their beautiful foliage. Allow the soil to dry before watering them, and make sure there is an excellent draining hole to prevent root rot.

Fertilizing them every two weeks during their growing season using a high-nitrogen fertilizer will help them bloom. You can propagate them via stem cuttings. You can grow them in USDA Hardiness Zones 10-11.

Hoya carnosa albomarginata is a shrubby succulent belonging to the Asclepiadaceae botanical family. This hoya has a climbing habit and is perfect for hanging pots. Hoya carnosa albomarginata develops like a vine and the leaves are ovate to elliptical, glossy, waxy smooth, bright green in color, and grow along the branches. The leaves can have pink shades in the center and the margins are usually creamy yellow to white. Blooming occurs in late spring to early summer and the blossoms are borne on long stalks. The inflorescence is an umbel made of 10-30 flowers. The flowers are small, star-shaped, and scented. The petals are usually light pink to creamy white but sometimes dark pink; the center of the flower is tinged with purple hues.
