Monstera Adansonii

Monstera Adansonii or commonly known as Swiss Cheese Plant due to its multiple holes or fenestration on each leaf. This is a vining or climbing plant. It has large, heart-shaped leaves that develop holes as the plant matures. It is native to the tropical perennial climate of Central and South America.

This well-loved houseplant is easy to grow and easy to care for once established. You can plant them in a beautiful pot and place them in an area where they can get enough sunlight to thrive with some trellis to climb their vines. Monstera Adansonii appreciates bright and indirect sunlight and well-drained soil mix.

Allow the soil to dry before watering again, and make sure there is an excellent draining hole in the pot to prevent root rot. Fertilizing them during their growing season using an all-purpose liquid fertilizer will help them boost their growth. Adansonii is toxic to pets, so make sure not to mingle with them.

You can propagate them via stem cuttings. You can grow them in USDA Hardiness Zones 10-12.
