The Mature San Pedro ‘Totem Pole’ Cactus or Trichocereus Pachanoi Monstrose, is native to Baja California, but is also seen in Southwest desert areas, where it is commonly used as a landscaping focal point. It likes full, sun once established.  These may show some scaring, which is simply due to their age. The totem pole cactus is one that is very unique and eye catching. It can achieve impressive height. . The Totem Pole Cactus is a hybrid. The ‘Totem Pole’ Cactus has no needles or thorns. It has a beautiful, smooth, shiny green coloring. The tallest per pot is generally between 7-8″ in height and most are between 3-4″ in diameter. There are 2-3 stems per pot. We choose for health, height and general appearance.

Drought tolerant when established.  Provide full sun, well draining soil and water thoroughly when soil is completely dry to the touch.  Create your own terrarium or centerpiece using ever-popular cactus as the focal point.

Cactus plants are among the hardiest, most drought-tolerant in the world and very easy to maintain, as long as they are planted in a porous cactus/succulent soil, given proper drainage, daily bright light, and not over watered.

You will receive the contents of an 8″ diameter pot. It will be a well-established, rooted plant. It will be sent bareroot and packaged with great care. It will be shipped via USPS Priority mail.

If you are ordering from an area with weather below 32 degrees, please consider purchasing a heat pack.

It’s a nice cactus. The only reason I give 2 stars is because of the description of it being rare and monstrose. It is exactly as pictured but the description certainly had me wondering. A totem pole cactus is not a San Pedro cactus and it did not look like a monstrose cactus. To clear things up for people, it is a typical pc variety cactus. Well packaged and nice specimen but run of the mill variety. Nothing rare to add to a collection
