Peperomia Argyreia is stunning foliage of striped light to a dark green leaf that resembles a watermelon. It is native to the tropical climate of South America. They are easy to grow and easy to care for once established.
You can plant them indoors near a sunny window where they can attract visitors while sitting on the couch. It is a nice addition to your collection of plants especially if you have it displayed in a beautiful pot. It thrives in bright and indirect light and well-drained soil.
Allow the soil to dry before watering them, and make sure there is an excellent draining hole in the pot to prevent root rot. Too much direct sunlight can cause leaf scorch. Fertilizing our beautiful peperomia argyreia can be done during their growing season to boost healthy growth from spring to summer.
You can propagate them via leaf cuttings. You can grow them in USDA Hardiness Zones 10b- 12b at 65-75ºF (18-24ºC).

- Facts/Care Tips: The Watermelon Peperomia is a species of flowering plant in the family Piperaceae, native to Northern S. America, including Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, and Venezuela. This Peperomia has asymmetrical oval green leaves, slightly fleshy, strikingly marked with curved silver stripes, and red/pink stems. Flowers appear in summer in the form of a spike.
- Light; Prefers Bright indirect light.
- Watering: Water thoroughly when your plant feels half dry. Leaf dropping is a sign your peperomia needs water. This isn’t prone to root rot so do not allow it to sit in water.
- Potting Medium/repotting: Peperomias enjoy moist not soaked soil. Repot when the plant is pot-bound
- Fertilize/Feed: Only fertilize/feed in spring and summer. Dilute all fertilizers and feed by at least half the recommended dosage. Try not to allow Leach your plant in summer by flushing it with water to remove the salts left behind by fertilization.
- Propagation: You may propagate by leaf, or splitting the plant. We are not responsible for damage during transit! USPS is a separate entity. These peperomias are very sensitive to cold we are not responsible for any damage during transit.

I cannot give this seller enough compliments. Fast shipping. Superb packaging. I’ve never ordered a plant that didn’t lose soil.
Inside the Plant was wrapped and preserved; outside covering perhaps made the difference. Very happy. I would order again and definitely recommend.
