Sky Pencil Holly in a 2 1/2″ pot
WE DO NOT SHIP TO CALIFORNIA!!!!!
This listing is for 1) Sky Pencil Holly in a 2 1/2″ pot (the tree is 6″-18″ tall)
Sky Pencil hollies are narrow, columnar shrubs that grow up to 8 feet (2.4 m.) tall and 2 feet (.6 m.) wide. With pruning, you can maintain them at a height of 6 feet (1.8 m.) and a width of just 12 inches (30 cm.). They produce small, greenish flowers and female plants produce tiny, black berries, but neither is particularly ornamental. They are grown primarily for their interesting shape. Sky Pencil holly shrubs grow well in containers. This allows you to use them as architectural plants to frame a door or entryway or on decks and patios. You don’t have to worry about coming in contact with the plant because the leaves aren’t prickly as with other types of holly shrubs. In the ground, you can use Sky Pencil holly shrubs as a hedge plant. They come in handy in places where you don’t have room for the width of bushier plants. They look well-groomed without much pruning, and you can use them in formal gardens alongside neatly sheared plants.
Sky Pencil hollies are rated for USDA plant hardiness zones 6 through 9. They adapt to full sun or partial shade. In zones 8 and 9, provide protection from harsh afternoon sun. In zone 6 it needs protection from strong winds. It grows well in any well-drained soil.

5 Goldenseal Bareroot
Only 37 available and it's in 1 people's basketWE DO NOT SHIP TO CALIFORNIA!!!!!
Goldenseal is a perennial, woodland forb in the buttercup family (Ranunculaceae). The name is derived from the underground rhizome, which is yellow with a golden sap. In the spring, the plant produces a flowering stem with two, large hairy leaves, palmately cut into 5 to 7 lobes, and with prominent veins.
Goldenseal has a long history as a medical herb, and remains a popular herb today. The herbal properties derive from several alkaloids extracted from the rhizome. As an herbal medicine, the extract has been used as a general tonic, especially for treating inflammations of the digestive system, but also as a topical treatment for skin and ear infections. In addition, the extract has been used, erroneously, to mask illegal drugs during urine tests. The rhizome also produces a natural, yellow dye.
Goldenseal is widespread through eastern North America, ranging from Vermont south to Georgia, and west to Alabama, Arkansas, and Minnesota. The plant was very common in the Ohio River valley; however, over-collection for the herbal industry has reduced many native populations. The plant grows in rich, moist forests throughout its range.I am sorry but we do not ship outside the US, & we cannot ship to Canada, or Hawaii. Thanks so much!

1 Elderberry plant (Quart)
WE DO NOT SHIP TO CALIFORNIA!!!!!
Growing elderberries is not all that difficult. They can tolerate different conditions like poor soil or overly wet areas. One thing growing elderberries cannot tolerate, however, is drought. When planting elderberry bushes, you should note that the berries will grow on the bushes the first year you plant them. Just remember that the berries will do better the second year. Elderberry planting is done best in well-draining, loamy soil. Sandy soils should be improved by adding a few inches (5 to 10 cm.) of organic matter. When elderberry planting, make sure to allow for cross-pollination. Therefore, two or more cultivars can be planted near each other. Plant them one meter apart (3 ft.) in rows that are four to five meters (13 to 16.5 ft.) apart.
Depending on variety and conditions, they can grow from 10′ to 20′ tall, but can be pruned and kept much smaller. They do best in gardening zones 3-8. Elderberries prefer rich, moist soil that is well drained, but can tolerate many different growing conditions.
