Crassula muscosa (Watch Chain) succulent has tiny, compacted leaves around its stems that grow into a small bush. Just like most succulents, they thrive in full sun to partial shade and are gritty, and sandy with organic-rich soil. It is native to South Africa.
Watch chain can be planted in USDA hardiness zones 9a. It is a great addition to your collection of plants, especially if you have it displayed in a beautiful pot. Can be propagated via stem cuttings and not a cold-hardy plant.
When watering them, use the soak-and-dry method and allow the soil to dry before watering them and make sure there is an excellent draining hole in the pot to prevent root rot. Fertilizing them once a month during their growing season using a balanced water-soluble fertilizer will help them grow faster. The watch chain is toxic to humans and pets, so make sure not to mingle with them.
