The Emerald Gem, the Queen of hearts, is an interior plant, shady groundcover for tropical gardens. It has heart-shaped deep green blades with prominent leaf veins and a shiny, smooth texture. Greener floral columns or spades have hooded and curved bract spathe. The plant originates from South America and Tropical Asia and thus prefers warm and humid weather. It has small heights ranging from 12 inches to 30 inches and is therefore suitable for height-restricted areas.
