Gold Dust Croton (Codiaeum Variegatum) has striking variegated foliage that can brighten up your day. It has leathery, thin leaves, and brightly colored green with yellow spots, perfect for indoor setups. It is native to Indonesia, Southern Asia, and Eastern Pacific Islands and thrives in bright indirect light and a well-drained soil mix.

You can plant them in a pot and place them in an area where they can get enough sunlight to thrive. Gold dust croton has natural air-purifying qualities. It cleans all the toxins in the air, making your home fresh and clean.

It is a lovely addition to your collection of plants, especially if you have it displayed in a beautiful pot. Allow the soil to dry before watering them, and make sure there is an excellent draining hole to prevent root rot. Fertilizing them once a month during their growing season using a general houseplant fertilizer will help them boost their growth.

The best way to propagate them is via stem cuttings. You can grow them in USDA Zones 10 and 11.

Gold Dust Crotons or Codiaeum variegatum is a subtropical, evergreen shrub.

This plant does well when placed near a north-facing window. Lots of bright indirect sunlight is required of the Gold Dust Croton.

Without light, the croton’s colors will fade. A humidifier may be helpful for an indoor croton in the case of a dry interior climate.

When kept inside, it is easy for the plant to become dusty. If this happens, you can take the plant outdoors to spray it off or use a wet sponge to remove any dust and pest residue.

Gar-Zen botanical Designs is located in South Florida and is a Black & Minority women-owned business. All our plants are grown outdoors in the wild, no greenhouses.

Despite receiving my pothos package at time of delivery, I received my pothos with dried out seemingly dead nodes, split leaves, brown leaves, dried stems. I was so disappointed because I had wanted this potho for a very long time.I have done my best to save them and pray that i will. I do thank you for the free alligator plant and seeds.
