The Small Opuntia Gumbi or Opuntia Sublata Montrose is a bright green cactus with orange, spine like growth. It will grow up to 18″ in height and spread from 10 to 12″ in width.
Avoid white sap from the interior of the plant. If contact is made wash well with soap and water.
Drought tolerant when established. Provide full sun, well draining soil and water thoroughly when soil is dry. Create your own terrarium or centerpiece using ever-popular cactus as the focal point. Buy in bulk to use these as wedding or party favors–discounts are available for quantity purchases, just contact me for more info.
Cactus plants are among the hardiest, most drought-tolerant in the world and very easy to maintain, as long as they are planted in a porous cactus/succulent soil, given proper drainage, daily bright light, and not over watered.
You will receive 1 well-established, rooted plant, from an 2.5 inch pot, sent bareroot and packaged with great care. It will be shipped via USPS Priority mail.
If you are ordering from an area with weather below 32 degrees, please consider purchasing a heat pack.

Shipping Policy
Our shipping schedule will be one day a week. This will include all orders placed by the previous Friday, as we do our plant pick up from our growers on Saturdays. We will be processing and packing orders on Mondays for shipping on Tuesdays. We ship USPS Priority Mail, which has an estimated 2-3 day travel time. After doing this for many years, we find this is the safest schedule for shipping the live plants.
Refund Policy
There are no refunds done once ordered plants have been pulled from the greenhouses. If you have any issues once your order is received please contact me directly as soon as possible so that the problem can be rectified.
PLEASE CONSIDER ORDERING A HEAT PACK IF YOU ARE ORDERING FROM AN AREA 35 DEGREES OR BELOW!! PLANTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED IF NO HEAT PACK IS ORDERED IN COLD WEATHER!!
