Large Flowering Plants

Large flowering plants produce big, showy blooms that make an impressive display in gardens. Some examples include giant lilies like the Oriental lily, with flowers up to 8 inches across.

Hybrid hibiscus grows enormous 6-10 inch flowers in tropical colors. Dinnerplate dahlias feature blossoms measuring up to 12 inches in diameter. Trumpet vines produce cascades of enormous, tube-shaped orange-red flowers.

Large flower varieties also exist for irises, begonias, roses, camellias, and more. Giant allium bulbs send up 4-8 inch flower heads atop tall stalks. With their oversized blossoms, large flowering plants guarantee to get noticed, attract pollinators, and add dramatic focal points to any garden.
