Embracing the title of an indoor plant, the Scindapsus Moonlight Treubii requires minimal attention, making it an excellent choice for both seasoned plant enthusiasts and beginners. To ensure its well-being, a well-draining soil rich in organic matter is ideal, allowing the top layer of soil to slightly dry out between waterings. While it prefers bright indirect light, it graciously accommodates medium indirect light conditions, showcasing its adaptability and ease of care.

Native to the tropical regions of Southeast Asia, Scindapsus are often mistaken for Pothos but stand as a distinct genus, captivating collectors with their unique, colorful foliage. Among the most popular variants is the Scindapsus pictus, known for its diverse leaf variations, often featuring striking silver and green variegation. One of the plant’s endearing traits is its ability to communicate its watering needs; when thirsty, its leaves gracefully curl, prompting a gentle reminder to provide a sip of water. Though commonly displayed in hanging baskets, these plants also relish climbing and benefit from a supportive coco pole to maintain robust foliage and enhance their natural grace.

What to expect: You’ll get a healthy plant in a 4″ nursery pot. Please note: The pictures may show an enlarged plant (more mature plant) for the sake of showing off the plant at its peak!

Packaging & Shipping: Every plant is fragile and the shipping process is not always kind (or easy). That’s why every plant is packaged snugly with care in a pot with plastic wrapping tightly sitting over the dirt in the pot to prevent it from falling out as well as around the pot to hold it in place inside the shipping box.

Care instructions: Soil: A standard well-drained potting soil mix. We use a mixture of 50% perlite and 50% succulent soil mix to ensure the roots remain aerated and healthy.

Light: Thrives in medium to bright indirect light, but can tolerate low indirect light.

Water: Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.

Temperature: Average home temperature of 65°F-75°F. It’s best not to let it go below 60°F.
