LATIN NAME: AGAVE ATTENUATA X AGAVE OCAHUI

The Basics

Blue Glow is a fantastic smaller-sized agave that was developed a few years ago. This plant is a hybrid of Agave ocahui and Agave attenuata, and it gets the best of both parents. Leaves are a glaucous blue-green color with a reddish-brown edge, and it finishes in a stout terminal spine.

The Needs

Amount of Sunlight: Thrives in full sun; Tolerates shade

Amount of Water: Water regularly; more frequent watering in extreme heat

Soil Conditions:   Prefers dry, well-drained soil; Drought tolerant

Cold Hardiness Zone: 6-10

The Care

This low-maintenance evergreen grass needs a regular water schedule to ensure the growth of a mature root system.  The first year of growth requires watering weekly.  After the mature root system is established, watering is needed occasionally, except during a drought, watering is needed regularly. Pruning is not required.

The buyer also agrees to check their EMAIL regularly and ensure that they are prepared to pick up the item from the MAILBOX immediately after receiving the email that the item has been delivered.
