Hours and Days of Operation

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden are open daily for the public from 9 am to 5 pm. The only days the garden is closed are Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. So you can enjoy the garden year long.

Admission

  • Adults aged 13 to 64 on any day pay $20, and discounts are available throughout the year.

  • Seniors aged 65+ pay $16 on any day, with discounts available throughout the year.

  • Children aged 2 to 12 pay $12, with discounts available in certain months.

  • For the Children’s Adventure Garden, the entrance fee is $3.

  • Parking costs $15, and when you book online, you pay $11.

Pets

Only service pets are permitted in the garden.

Photography Policy

The Dallas Arboretum has plenty to offer regarding photography in the lush gardens. Here you can do commercial to personal photography. You need to arrange commercial shoots in advance with the garden admin.

For both commercial to non-commercial shoots, there are guidelines you need to follow:

  • Handheld cameras are permitted after 9 am for professional photography sessions.

  • You must purchase an admission ticket or have a membership.

  • No drones are allowed at all in the garden.

You will find the main entrance of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden on 8525 Garland Road, Dallas, Texas 75218. The parking garage is across the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden, and another underground parking lot is found underneath Garland Road.

There is a walkway leading to the ground level, and it is also handicapped accessible.

  • Lula Male Slaughter Dining Terrace is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm. There is a sandwich counter to grab something to eat or enjoy a glass of wine too cold beer. Enjoy the views of White Rock Lake and Downtown Dallas.

  • Cafe on the Green is open on Fridays from 10:30 am to 2 pm for casual outdoor dining with music.

  • Open daily from 11 am to 3 pm is Restaurant DeGolyer Estate, a venue in the center of the garden. Here you will find an exquisite menu and seating available outside.

You find picnic spots with lush gardens throughout the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. There is also a Grilled Cheese Kiosk, which remains closed until the Dallas Blooms 2023.
